Case Study 1
The Team
The team is part of a multinational organisation and operating across all continents in the field of consumer products. They are a high performing global team and highly productive, meeting together 8-10 times a year.
The Challenge
Whilst the team performed effectively and had strong leadership, they faced some serious challenges. The team felt unaligned on priorities and strategy, and there was some confusion about roles within the team. Conflict was also actively avoided within the team and they had issues about diversity not being valued.
Our Solution
We worked with the team, ensuring all team members completed the confidential Team Diagnostic™ questionnaire to provide information on team dynamics and relationships. We used a number of interventions over two days off-site, to increase levels of positivity in the team and help them find ways to deal with conflict. The team went away with a commitment to new behaviours and ways to build stronger relationships; and with a strong sense of camaraderie and how much they enjoyed working in harmony. Finally they put together an action plan. Team members also benefited from individual coaching sessions with Diamond Edge coaches.
